The Sullins Stadium Artificial Turf Project
The Ponca City board of education approved additions to the artificial turf project at Sullins Stadium, the additions include a five-star pad, end zone names, a logo on the centerfield, and the placement of bleachers for the band in the end-zone.
In anticipation of the turf project several months ago, a group of local citizens raised money to help with the costs associated with the project. To date, they have raised over $67,000 in personal contributions, which will pay for the initial change order. The group is continuing to raise raising money to fund the project.
