Gloria passed from this life on March 2 but not without a legacy of a life well-loved and well-lived. Her presence in her family, her community, and her work place will never be forgotten. She left behind many special friendships and an incredible love for life. After graduation from Po-Hi, Gloria attended Oklahoma State University then graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Tulsa. Gloria began her career in Bartlesville at Phillips Petroleum. In Bartlesville, she and her husband, Richard Franks (Po-Hi Class of 1963), started their family. Gloria immensely enjoyed her two kids, Rick and Jennifer. Gloria was also a wonderful grandmother as "the loves of her life" arrived: her two grandkids Olivia and Zack. As she would have expected nothing less, she and Richard made life as full as possible. Gloria loved to play golf and have much fun and enjoyment with those who were important to her. Although bile duct cancer took Gloria’s life, it never defeated her compassion for family and friends. We will all miss her.
